Chickpea kabobs - grilled, baked & pan-fried
These chickpea kabobs are delicious hand-made rolls which are cooked in 3 different ways for different textures. Use them in a variety of ways or just as an appetizer with a spicy dipping sauce.

- 2 cups Chickpeas cooked soft
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 small Onion finely chopped
- 3 multi-colored Peppers finely chopped
- 3 pods Garlic finely minced
- 1 bunch Cilantro finely chopped
- 3 Green Chillies (optional) finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala powder
- 1 tsp Red Chily powder
- Salt
- Oil
Start by mashing the cooked chickpeas in a large mixing bowl(The chickpea should be dry) Add the garam masala, red chilly powder and saltAdd triple colored peppers, onions, garlic and cilantro Add breadcrumbs and combine thoroughly
The mixture will be quite dry, now add oilÂ
Using your hands, start to mix and shape into kabob rollsÂ
There are 3 ways to cook these - grill them, bake them or shallow fry them. Each one has its own texture.
