The flavor profile selected for this cookie is ginger. Ginger again has a very earthy flavor and comes with its own list of medicinal properties helping with heart health, diabetes, cancer and so on and so forth.
Finally Raisins – raisins are dried grapes, which provide a boost of energy with just a handful and also a good source of iron. Make sure you pick the variety which does not have added sugar.
When you bite into this cookie, you first taste the chewy oats, by the second bite you get the warm ginger taste, then when you bite into a raisin, it explodes in your mouth with a sweet burst. By the end of the cookie, your mouth will be coated with the warmth of ginger and sweetness of raisins.
